Our nursery sessions for both toddlers and pre-schoolers help promote a positive relationship with exercise and sport that they can take with them throughout their school journeys and beyond! EARLY YEARS SPORTS FUND
The £1 million early years sports fund has been created by Super Star Sport UK to provide enough funding to ensure every single child who attends an early years setting, in England, has the opportunity to take part in a sports and activity session within their childcare setting. Following the inactivity children may have experienced through multiple national lockdowns during the Covid-19 pandemic our aim and absolute passion is to involve as many children in sport as possible. With this vision the £1 million early years sports fund was born.

Since launching the fund Super Star Sport have been able to provide over 1500 FREE sports sessions to many settings across the country.

Pre School EYFS Curriculum
Through our years of experience teaching in nurseries Super Star Sport along side industry experts created our very own EYFS Curriculum. Our curriculum shows a lot of the games we deliver and how it links to the EYFS guidelines. Our games and activities have been specifically designed to cross link the EYFS areas of learning allowing us to combine what is learnt in the nursery with the sport sessions we offer.

All nurseries where Super Star Sport run regular sessions have access to their very own curriculum which can be shown to prospective new parents, show what sport's and games the children will be learning across the Early Years programme. An additional benefit is that staff are able to use our curriculum for children's learning journals and physical development planning. Feedback from our nurseries say this is a really helpful tool to assist staff members on top of the fantastic standard of coaching the children receive.
Here at Super Star Sport West London, with our sensory sessions aimed at 18- 30 month olds, we aim to ensure children not only have fun and enjoy our sessions, but also learn and engage with all aspects of the early years foundation stage guidelines. Our activities and games have been carefully designed by industry experts to meet all of these guidelines. Our Super Star Sensory curriculum gives our nurseries a step by step view of how our activities and games meet the guidelines in many different ways.
Following the huge success of our Pre -School sports sessions we were made aware of the high demand for a introduction to exercise and structured play for our Toddlers as a stepping stone to our pre school sports sessions. Having introduced these sessions last year they have been hugely popular with many of our existing settings providing a great start to their sporting journeys.
